Despite our best intentions to provide in-person classes this year, we had to reverse our decision late yesterday. We will be starting this year on Sun., 9/12, with online classes only. We may re-evaluate our options for the second semester depending on the highly transmissible COVID variant.
Language classes start at 9:00 AM and there will be selected extracurricular classes. For those students who are registered for the MLP or non-bilingual language classes, please pick up (curb side) your books this Sat., 9/11, 11:00 – 12:00.

Directions for book pick up
Curb side pickup will be at Westwood High School (WHS) at the entrance of the Chinese School. If your child(ren) are registered for one of the bilingual classes, book purchases will be discussed during the first day of class.
The address of WHS is 200 Nahatan St., Westwood, MA 02090. When driving to the school’s entrance, please use the driveway keeping the football field on your left, you will drive by the entrance to the Auditorium on your right, and the Chinese School entrance is the next big entrance. Queue up along this curb.
DO NOT exit your car! On a 8.5×11 piece of paper write down the MLP class(es) your child(ren) are registered for and display this information on the front passenger side window. Staff will bring the books to your car and give them to you via the front passenger side window. Please bring a check made payable to Westwood Chinese School for the requisite amount. MLP K books are $50.00/set and MLP 1 – MLP 9 books are $55.00/set. Books may not be returned once the plastic wrap has been removed. Please wear a facing covering as we approach your car. This is for the safety of you and the staff member.
If you have not paid your tuition for the language class(es), we will be expecting this payment on Sat. too. Payment for tuition and books must be made payable to Westwood Chinese School with separate checks.
Please make every attempt to pick up your books on Sat. since this will make for a better start on Sun.
