Westwood Chinese School 2025 Year of the Snake Spring Festival Celebration Announcement 📣
Dear Teachers and PTO Parents,
The festive season is fast approaching! While we celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas, the teachers and PTO committee of Westwood Chinese School are diligently preparing for the 2025 Year of the Snake Spring Festival Celebration. This year, we will celebrate the Lunar New Year with a tea party and talent show, aiming to enhance teacher-student interactions and strengthen connections between the school and families.
Event Highlights and Reminders:
- No lunch will be provided this year. However, Chinese snacks and beverages will be available for everyone.
- Riddle Contest: We invite each class’s teacher to prepare riddles related to their course content. The riddles should match the Chinese language level of the class. For bilingual classes, please provide a version in both Chinese and English.
- Talent Show Recruitment:
- No restrictions on performance types or languages. Students, parents, teachers, as well as community neighbors and friends, are welcome to participate.
- Performances can be solo or group acts, showcasing your talents and creativity!

一年一度的节日季即将到来！在庆祝感恩节和圣诞节的同时，威斯伍中文学校的老师们和家委会正在紧锣密鼓地筹备2025蛇年春节庆祝活动。今年，我们将通过茶话会和才艺表演的形式，共同迎接农历新年，同时增进师生间的交流，并加强学校与家庭的联系。
活动亮点与注意事项：
- 今年活动将不提供午餐，但学校会为大家准备中式零食和饮品。
- 灯谜征集：我们诚邀各班老师准备与课程相关的灯谜。灯谜需符合班级中文水平，双语班的灯谜请提供中英文对照版。
- 才艺表演征集：
- 形式不限，语言不限，欢迎学生、家长、任课老师，以及社区邻居或朋友参与表演。
- 节目可以是个人或集体形式，充分展示您的才华与创意！
