Please register early to help the school make plans for the classrooms and teachers. The registration fee will be waived if families register for the classes and send the payment before July 31. The tuition will be prorated accordingly if you enroll after the school year starts. Please see the details about the registration fee rules and the payment instruction.

Tuition Payment
Family discount: Family may deduct 10% from tutition for the third student and 20% for the fourth student and up, if paid in full. The discount will be applied towards the individual(s) with the lowest tuition.

Parent Duty Deposit: Parent duty is $50 per family per year. There are two kinds of parent duties: one is to help clean the classrooms after Sunday classes end; the other is to help with special school events, such as the annual performance.
Parent duty can be waived if only adult classes are selected, please contact registrar@gwestwoodcs.org to waive the parent duty fee.
Registration Fee: The registration fee is $50.00 per family. It will be waived if the payment is received by the Westwood Chinese School on or before July 31.

Tuition and Refund Policy
Tuition
  1. Tuition is $660 per 1.5 hour class and $480 per 1 hour class per year unless otherwise noted.
  2. If the class has less than seven students, the school reserves the right to cancel the class.
  3. If the class has over fifteen students, you may be put on a waiting list on a first come first serve basis – the school will inform you at the beginning of August. If there are enough students the school may open a second class.
  4. Please contribute to WCS by signing up parent-on-duty program. We need 1 parent-on-duty per day while WCS is in session to help with bake sale, classroom setup, and student recess monitoring: 1.5 hours, 9-10:30am, during language class time.
Refund Policy
  • 100% refund if withdrawn before the end of the 2nd class.
  • 90% refund if withdrawn before the end of the 3rd class.
  • 70% refund if withdrawn before the end of the 4th class.
  • No refund after the end of the 4th class.
  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • No switching of classes after the 3rd class without approval from the principal.
